Feasibility Assessment

The goal of Level 10 projects is to determine the technical and economic viability of a wood energy system at your site. The Wisewood team leads each step of the way:

  • Define project objectives 

  • Collect data on your energy use and needs 

  • Conduct energy modeling to determine the appropriate size for wood energy technology 

  • Conduct a site visit to assess the site's logistics requirements and constraints

  • Develop preliminary operating and capital cost opinions

  • Summarize results in a written report

You'll walk away from Level 10 with a completed feasibility assessment and recommendations for customizing a biomass project to your needs.

When New Belgium Brewing wanted to evaluate if a process heating solution was right for them, they were connected to Wisewood Energy for help. We worked with their team to define the project needs and objectives, and delivered a feasibility assessment of what a biomass system would look like for the successful brewery.
